TERMS & CONDITIONS
These are the terms and conditions of business that apply to all contracts for the sale of goods or the provision of services by Williams Ridout Limited to the customer. Please review them carefully, as they supersede any previous terms or conditions issued by Williams Ridout Limited.
Any amendments or variations to these conditions, including any special terms agreed upon between the parties, will only be valid if confirmed in writing by Williams Ridout Limited.
CONFIRMATION OF ORDER
All orders are subject to acceptance by Williams Ridout Limited. A contract will be established once you pay the agreed deposit, typically 50% of the total project cost. Once the contract is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled by you unless we provide written agreement. Any cancellation request must be submitted in writing to our registered address, as shown below.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
Quotations are based upon the cost of materials, labour, transport, currency exchange rates affecting the cost of importing materials, applicable statutory regulations or requirements and all other expenses. We reserve the right to vary the price, within reason, to take account of any variation in the costs mentioned above before the date of delivery or installation. We will of course communicate any changes to you as soon as they arise.
Quotations are valid for six weeks from issue date.
Payment shall be made via bank transfer as follows:

All fees related to the development of a conceptual design shall fall due immediately upon delivery of a pro forma to the Customer;

Fifty percent (50%) of the project price shall be paid before Williams Ridout Limited commence work building the Goods or on any Works;

Twenty five percent (25%) of the price shall fall due when Williams Ridout Limited notify the Customer that they have built the Goods;

The remaining twenty five percent (25%) of the price and any other costs, charges or expenses will fall due immediately on delivery/completed installation of the Goods to the Customer.
All Goods remain the property of Williams Ridout Limited until paid for in full by the Customer.
DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION
Delivery typically takes twelve to sixteen weeks from the receipt of cleared deposit funds, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Any delivery dates or estimated timelines for the start or completion of installation provided by us are approximate and not guaranteed. Please note that bespoke furniture production is a meticulous process and should not be rushed; therefore, time is not of the essence.
Installation of goods will be carried out between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
It is your responsibility to ensure the installation area is clear of any obstructions prior to the scheduled installation date, unless otherwise arranged during the quotation process. If the area is not clear, we will charge our hourly production rate to remove any obstructions.
Once the goods are delivered and/or installation is completed, responsibility for the goods will transfer to the customer. Any damage or loss caused by individuals not employed by the company, such as builders or other tradespersons, will be the responsibility of the client.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All drawings, prototypes, specifications, mock-ups, designs, and literature created by or on behalf of Williams Ridout Limited, along with any associated copyrights, are the exclusive intellectual property of Williams Ridout Limited. These materials may not be reproduced, resold, or used in any way without the prior written consent of Williams Ridout Limited.
WARRANTY
All products manufactured by Williams Ridout Limited are covered by a ten-year warranty. Additionally, all fixtures, fittings, and appliances provided by us are backed by their standard manufacturer warranties. Upon installation, all goods must be inspected within seven days to identify any defects. If any item is found to be defective or damaged due to our installation, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. This warranty excludes defects resulting from normal wear and tear, deliberate damage, accidents, negligence (by you or any third party), misuse, failure to follow our aftercare instructions, or any unauthorised alterations or repairs.
